Zelda U – WIP

Remember waaay back at E3 this year? We got our first glimpses of the beauty that is Zelda U. And since Zelda is my life, I had to draw something. This this. It’s old, about two months which is how long I’ve been on a no-digital drawing stuff :< but I’m happy with it. I usually don’t draw males, and I tried one of my newer styles (I have two art styles now!) and yep. It’s still in the flat colour stage. I have so many theories for this game, it isn’t even funny. XD Also, since this place is literally barren, I’m going to post WIPs for arts that probably never will be completed, or were trashed.

Also. I’ve made a tumblr!

Comments and graphic tablets

Sorry for not posting art! My hiatus has become longer than I initially planned. My graphic tablet suddenly died in the middle of four artworks, and if that wasn’t bad enough, my laptop is gone for repair.

Anyways, I wanted to apologize for all the unanswered comments. I have 6.7K (including spam), I’ll try to go through them but I probably won’t answer all. Sorry!

A little side note – I will not be answering comments in any other language rather than English. ALSO, please do not add any links in your comments(more than two), or it will be counted as spam.

UPDATE – Do Not Expect Artwork ANYTIME Soon

Hello everyone!

As the title says kindly do not expect a lot of artwork from me anytime soon. I’m sandwiched between a couple of things.

As most of you know Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby was announced, I’ll be preoccupied with a bunch of stuff from that. I’m in the middle of Eurovision, and we’ve got TFIOS movie on the sixth, AND E3 on the tenth. Plus exams, and a ton of books to read -.-

I’m making some artworks, but slowly.

Speedpaint – Hatsune Miku

Me drawing Hatsune Miku!
This is by far my LARGEST video, 1.09 GB O.O. Kind of understandable as it was an eight hour process. I would’ve made it faster, but Windows Movie Maker would just freeze, or the speedpaint would loose an extreme amount of detail. I’m insanely proud of this one!

You can see TheFineBros and Danisnotonfire XD
I was crying while drawing this as I was listening to an eBook of ‘Looking For Alaska’. Someone needs to punch John Green.[no offence to him!]

Vocaloid – Hatsune Miku

I love Vocaloids! Especially Hatsune Miku. So… I drew her.

I drew her lineless, and I’m PROUD of doing that. And I’ve also got a new background!

I love the songs so much.

Kind of weird that Japan has taken over my life, isn’t it? I regret nothing.

This was an 8 hour work, and I did it while listening to ‘Looking For Alaska’. Yes, I know, I know, I’m a John Green fan.

Anyho, this was fun, and reminding me why I never do lineless, but I enjoyed it.

The Fault In Our Stars

Now, what is The Fault In Our Stars about?

The Fault In Our Stars is a book written by John Green in 2010. It is the story of 16 year old Hazel Grace, a girl diagnosed with lung cancer. She can’t breathe properly, but that doesn’t stop her from living her life. She meets Augustus Waters at a ‘Cancer group’. And they become best friends, and then Augustus – who is diagnosed with leg cancer [I think] – has to- I’m not spoiling ANYTHING. Sorry.

Oh my goodness.

I love this book so much, and I love John Green. I was bawling while drawing this, and I mean bawling.

I got addicted to The Fault In Our Stars when a close friend of me MADE me read it, and I’m pretty grateful. And last month we saw… a trailer for TFIOS movie.

Yes, I fangirled at that time.

You gave me forever V1

This is my FAVOURITE Gus quote.

You gave me forever V2This is my take on that quote; “Thank you for giving me forever within a limited amount of pages.”

This is a quick 30 minute doodle.

This book is a sort-of romance novel, but it is NOT centred around romance. It is a very very very very emotional book. You WILL cry through it.

I re-read this, and this has to be the sweetest thing ever. And a little warning, it contains a little swearing. [SPOILERS DOWN!]

Van Houten,

I’m a good person but a shitty writer. You’re a shitty person but a good writer. We’d make a good team. I don’t want to ask you any
favors, but if you have time—and from what I saw, you have plenty—I was wondering if you could write a eulogy for Hazel. I’ve got
notes and everything, but if you could just make it into a coherent whole or whatever? Or even just tell me what I should say differently.

Here’s the thing about Hazel: Almost everyone is obsessed with leaving a mark upon the world. Bequeathing a legacy. Outlasting death.
We all want to be remembered. I do, too. That’s what bothers me most, is being another unremembered casualty in the ancient and
inglorious war against disease.

I want to leave a mark.

But Van Houten: The marks humans leave are too often scars. You build a hideous minimall or start a coup or try to become a rock star
and you think, “They’ll remember me now,” but (a) they don’t remember you, and (b) all you leave behind are more scars. Your coup
becomes a dictatorship. Your minimall becomes a lesion.

(Okay, maybe I’m not such a shitty writer. But I can’t pull my ideas together, Van Houten. My thoughts are stars I can’t fathom into

We are like a bunch of dogs squirting on fire hydrants. We poison the groundwater with our toxic piss, marking everything MINE in a
ridiculous attempt to survive our deaths. I can’t stop pissing on fire hydrants. I know it’s silly and useless—epically useless in my current
state—but I am an animal like any other.

Hazel is different. She walks lightly, old man. She walks lightly upon the earth. Hazel knows the truth: We’re as likely to hurt the universe
as we are to help it, and we’re not likely to do either.

People will say it’s sad that she leaves a lesser scar, that fewer remember her, that she was loved deeply but not widely. But it’s not sad,
Van Houten. It’s triumphant. It’s heroic. Isn’t that the real heroism? Like the doctors say: First, do no harm.

The real heroes anyway aren’t the people doing things; the real heroes are the people NOTICING things, paying attention. The guy who
invented the smallpox vaccine didn’t actually invent anything. He just noticed that people with cowpox didn’t get smallpox.

After my PET scan lit up, I snuck into the ICU and saw her while she was unconscious. I just walked in behind a nurse with a badge and I
got to sit next to her for like ten minutes before I got caught. I really thought she was going to die before I could tell her that I was going
to die, too. It was brutal: the incessant mechanized haranguing of intensive care. She had this dark cancer water dripping out of her
chest. Eyes closed. Intubated. But her hand was still her hand, still warm and the nails painted this almost black dark blue and I just held
her hand and tried to imagine the world without us and for about one second I was a good enough person to hope she died so she
would never know that I was going, too. But then I wanted more time so we could fall in love. I got my wish, I suppose. I left my scar.

A nurse guy came in and told me I had to leave, that visitors weren’t allowed, and I asked if she was doing okay, and the guy said, “She’s
still taking on water.” A desert blessing, an ocean curse.

What else? She is so beautiful. You don’t get tired of looking at her. You never worry if she is smarter than you: You know she is. She is
funny without ever being mean. I love her. I am so lucky to love her, Van Houten. You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world,
old man, but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices. I hope she likes hers.

I do, Augustus.
I do

Another Update

Seems like all I do these days is post updates, right? :p

But moving on, I’ve got 3-4 artworks in the process of being done, all of them are quite challenging, but I’ll try to finish them as soon as possible.

I haven’t been posting much due to school; I have exams in 3 months. I’ve been listening to Pokemon Reborn and Vocaloids quite a bit too. And so many other artists.

You guys might not see much in April and May, but once June comes, you’ll be getting loads of artworks.

Oh! And I’ve got some good news too! I’ve got a Zelda Triforce wall hanging nearly done, and an emulation of mange-esque style. Just because I haven’t been drawing digitally doesn’t mean that I haven been drawing at all.

I’ve also been looking through my 7000 comments, I was quite surprised that most of them aren’t spam! I love all of you guys for the support! Thank you!!

Oh, and I’ve got two tutorials coming up soon – including a voiced one.

So after the news of closing down the WCO forums, I just wanted to say thank-you to Ayuko.

This was done 4 months ago, and I wanted to do a big surprise for you, unfortunately that wasn’t probable.
